Nexus 7 Wallpaper Size

So I recently got a Nexus 7 tablet, (in fact I’m writing this post on it) and I wanted to put a different wallpaper image on it. After a lot of research and trial and error here’s what I came up with:

Size: 1600×1280
Resolution: 144 ppi

I don’t know if those are the official specs, but they worked the best for me. So if you have a Nexus 7 and want to make your own wallpaper I hope this helps.

  3. Still uncertain about Apple. I do enjoy their products but the whole patent fiasco has really turned me away from purchasing their products.

Yeah Charlie I feel the same way. Apple makes great products, but some of the things they do really turn me away as well.

THANKS!! Saved me alot of tweaking numbers. I used Paint Shop Pro and set my Nexus 7 Wallpaper to
    Size: 1600Ă—1280
    Resolution: 144 ppi
and PERFECT!!! Thanks, worked great thanks to you.

Ever since the 4.2.1 OS update I have found my 1600X1280 wallpapers don’t fit. I assume this has something to do with the rotate support it now has. They are all too wide now. Does anyone know the new optimal wallpaper resolution?
